Your privacy is one of the top priorities in our work. We treat your information as the most valuable asset we get from you. This Privacy Policy covers all aspects of why and how we collect, use, transfer and store your data. Eyen S.a.r.l. which has adopted this Privacy Policy, a company registered in France registered office address of 37-41 Boulevard Dubouchage, Nice City Centre, 06000, Nice ("Eyen", "Company", "We", "Us", "Our") to manifest our firm commitment to privacy.
This Privacy Policy applies to Eyen desktop and mobile applications (collectively, the “Products”), eyen.fr and other Eyen websites (collectively, the “Sites”) and other interactions (e.g., customer service inquiries, user conferences, etc.) you may have with Eyen.
This policy applies to the Company's employees, contractors, and officers.
Collection and use of personal information
Personal information is data that allows us to identify or contact a specific individual.
Here's a list of personal information we may collect:
- When you contact us, we keep track of all our conversation for possible future reference to provide you with the best customer support service.
- We may ask you to provide additional personal information to fulfill your requests to your customer support.
- To leave a comment in our blog or customer forums on our Sites or our pages in social networks, you need to have credentials. Please note that your feedback and information you've provided to identify you (nickname) will be visible to other visitors of our website.
The information we collect is used for us to develop, plan, test and improve our products, services, content and customer communications. We may also use it to inform you about significant changes and news about products and services you use. For example, significant changes to this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Service. You can always opt out of receiving some or all these notifications.
We may also anonymously use your information for internal development objectives such as data analysis, research and development, machine learning and other techniques aimed to improve the quality of our products and services.
Here's a list of personal information we do NOT collect:
- Location information. To perform its mission, Taskheat needs to get a precise user's location provided by the operating system's location services. This location information is obtained with your explicit consent and permission and is used locally. We do not collect or transfer locations provided by the operating system's location services.
Usage of personal information in specific products
Taskheat
Taskheat uses iCloud to store your data and keep it in sync between all your devices. We, as developers, don't have access to the information stored in iCloud. It is securely stored on servers managed by Apple.
Taskheat for iPhone and iPad may be activated using your Setapp subscription provided by Setapp Limited ("Setapp"). It is the only case when the app collects your device identifier to verify your Setapp subscription. The Mac version distributed over the Mac App Store does not collect any data.
If you don't use Setapp to activate the Full Version of Taskheat, the app does not collect any data.
In addition to Apple's analytics Taskheat uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous data. TelementryDeck's privacy policy can be found here.
Subjects
Subjects uses secured third-party servers at reliable contractors to store data. We do not share, sell (for a fee or free of charge) or publish any data we receive from our customers.
We use "Sign-In with Apple" to identify our customers. Doing it that way allows us to securely validate accounts and not store any real email addresses that can be used to identify you.
You can give access to your data to third parties by using Sharing Hubs. The data owner is responsible for data security and privacy in case they are exposed to third parties via sharing hubs.
You can contact us with a request to delete your personal information and data at any time. We will delete them after verifying the authenticity of your request.
We use your device identifier(s) to provide service authentication securely.
In addition to Apple's analytics Subjects uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous data. TelementryDeck's privacy policy can be found here.
Collection and use of non-personal information
Non-personal information is a data that doesn't allow us or cannot be used to identify a specific individual uniquely. We may collect, use, transfer, store this information the way we consider the best to provide you with the services we advertised.
Here are a few examples of non-personal information we collect when you use our services:
- When you visit our Sites, we keep logs of various data for statistical purposes. This data includes your IP address, browser type and language, referring pages, date and time stamps, and operating systems. For this purpose, we use Google Analytics to keep track of useful information about our website visits. If you like to opt out of this loggins, please visit this link. - If you visit our Site by the link from Twitter Ad, we are working with Twitter Inc to collect necessary information for purposes of conversion tracking. If you like to opt out of this loggings, please visit this link for the instructions.
- Our software periodically checks our servers for necessary updates or notices. In this case, we may use and log some critical information like IP address, language, operating system, date and time marks of the request.
We can anonymously analyze data to improve our quality of service. We do not share, publish or transmit analytical data we collect to any third parties, including our contractors.
In cases when personal and non-personal information is combined, we treat the result as personal information.
Google Analytics
Our Sites uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
Cookies and other technologies
We use “cookies” on the blog on our website to understand and save your preferences for future visits. Cookies are small text files a site can store on your hard drive. If you prefer, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you may want to turn off all cookies via your browser settings. Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, some of our services may not function properly.
In our email communications, we may use other technologies like “pixel tags” and “click-through URLs” to determine if an email has been opened and which links have been clicked. This way, we can evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our communications. Pixel tags are small images shown inside an HTML email; you can disable tracking by disabling HTML in your email client. A link with a click-through URL, when clicked, first sends the user to a web server which records the click, and then to the link's destination.
Disclosure to third parties
We do not share, sell, trade or otherwise transfer your personal, non-personal information to other parties.
This information does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our services, conducting our business or servicing you as long as these parties agree to keep your information confidential and share our values in protecting your privacy. We work with other companies who provide services to us like hosting our website, offering our help desk software, analyzing our website traffic, hosting our cloud services, and other business-related services. All our contractors are highly trusted, professionals who provide us with industry standard systems and process and have a very respectable reputation.
We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our corporate policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.
If Eyen is involved in a reorganization, merger, or sale, the information we collect may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Protection of personal information
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These measures include regular internal reviews, integrity checks, and evaluation or our systems as well as applying the latest industry standard data protection and security techniques.
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption for all information that is being transmitted. However, in the modern world, there's no method of transmitting and storing data that is 100% sure, we cannot guarantee the security of data transfer between your client and our server.
Inside Eyen, we restrict access to personal information to only those employees, whose direct responsibility is to develop, maintain and deploy our data services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality agreements and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution if they fail to meet these obligations.
When you add a comment to blog posts or forums at our website, you'll provide necessary information that will be publicly visible (such as your nickname) or any other information in your comment. In this case, you're responsible for taking care of your privacy when using these services.
Please note that some of our servers or servers that belong to our partners may be physically located outside of the country of your residence. If you use our services, you agree that your information may be transmitted, stored and processed in data centers outside your country.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable measures to remove that information from our systems. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any personal information through the Site and/or Products. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personal information through the Sites and/or Products without their permission. Third party sites and services
Our website and some services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for contents and information that may be collected by those third parties. We strongly encourage you to read their privacy policy before submitting any information to them.
Your Consent
By using our Products, our Sites and by contacting our support you consent to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms, do not access or use the Products, Sites or any other aspect of Eyen's business.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is subject to revision from time to time on a going-forward basis. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page.
